Production:

The first stage to produce a film is to make the screenplay (the script that the actors will be saying in the film/movie). Then all the scenes are filmed in the relevant locations. Afterwards the film is assembled by the editors. The next step is to create a fine cut where all the scenes are trimmed so they can flow seamlessly. Finally, all the music and and graphics is added. The main producers of films in America are James Cameron, Steven Spielberg and Spike Lee. The ownership of the studio may have an impact on what the film that the studio makes by the taste and decision on producers. Independent production means when you make a film by yourself.

Distribution:

Film festivals.

Distribution means when the film is sent to the cinema so people can watch it. Some distributors( the people who distributes the film) decide to release a film on one particular weekend rather than another is because another popular film may be coming out so it may have some competition. The newer way to distribute a film is by a hard drives so the film is filmed digitally. Film festivals is extended show of films is one or more cinema. Distribution is key to the film chain because if it is unable to secure a distribution deal then it wont show on screen.

Marketing:

Marketing is when the film is advertised or shown to the public/audience.It can be promoted in a various ways such as: trailers, posters, bus adverts, internet banner ads and Facebook pages. which is recognized by everyone, so it doesn't matter what language they speak.

Exhibition:

The refreshments sold in the cinema.

Most people watch movies at cinema,DVD or they would watch it online (Netflix). The box office is how much they made since that movie got released. Most cinema makes their profit from obviously the movie and also the refreshments that they sell. Normally, the actors and the producers/directors earn the money if the film is successful.Cinema encourage the audience to come back than rather watch the films online so they don't lose any profit.

BFI:

The BFI is here for to promote the movies even more so more people see it. The BFI help the British Film industry by it has a charity to support all the film makers so they can succeed and become popular.
