The budget of the film was just under 1 million pounds. The film was set in Brixton to give it a more urban touch to the story line.

The technologies that were used to make the film is music, ADR, sound deisgn and grading.

The director choose to pick this particular storyline because its a modern day and cliche day story also the plot was based on a true story line.

They found the main cast by looking at young people through different agencies , theatres and schools. ( this method is called street casting). They choose to street casting because its more cheaper for the production also it makes the final production look more reliable and believeable.
